Just Ridin' Around

Post by Carl La Fong »

I haven't ridden the bike much since I finished the Ranger swap. Just been a lot of bullshit and other issues that have kept me grounded. For the past few weeks, I've tried to take it out whenever the weather cooperated. Each time I get on it, I begin to like the transmission more and more. It is a real pleasure to ride. It shifts beautifully, the clutch is smooth and easy to pull. No worries about Nesco bugaboos, I can whack the throttle in high gear all day long. I wish BH had considered using it. If they had solved the heavy clutch pull problems, that the early bike had, maybe things would be different now. I could use a reverse, but if you choose your parking spots wisely, it isn't so bad. Plus, I never had one to begin with anyway.
